Facility

Our state-of-the-art fabrication facilities are conveniently located in Fremont, CA. Providing innovative solutions for diverse needs, our fab shops leverage integrated 3D CAD design and lean manufacturing processes to produce and deliver some of today’s most complex projects.

 

 

Lean Fabrication

The objectives of a lean production system are to maximize value and minimize waste. Everything we do in the fabrication shop embodies that philosophy. From our technology and tools, to our design and planning, we make high quality products while minimizing material handling and waste. This translates to a better construction process that benefits the team and owner.

 

A large part of lean success during fabrication is our “One Model” BIM approach. After the coordination process is complete, the model is downloaded into advanced CAM cutting machines in our state-of-the-art fabrication facilities.  Total station points, as well as the field install drawings, are created directly from the 3D model.  This saves time, materials and money during fabrication, and ensures accuracy throughout the construction process.

 

 

Sheet Metal Fabrication

Clinton' sheet metal shop fabricates more than five million pounds of ductwork annually. Our advanced 3D CAD system can download drawing files to the computerized plasma cutter and automated coil line which seamlessly installs duct liner and sealant.  Depending on the needs of the project, we have fabricated ductwork from numerous materials including galvanized, stainless, aluminum, galvaneal, PVC coated, and black iron.

 

Based on our extensive experience with mission-critical systems and the need to ensure clean air standards, we employ clean duct protocol that is used on all projects to ensure the materials arrive to the site protected and free of contaminants.  Once the ductwork has been fabricated, the ends are sealed with a protective covering, shielding it from dirt and construction debris and ensuring it is clean and ready for installation.
